The Daily EDGE : Saturday, March 28, 2020 - A much needed free day on the road
Good evening Edge clients and family.
Well my son, Damon, and I were going a bit nuts. We love road trips together and decided to hit the road. Just go, be safe and see where the road took us. We drove towards Cuyamaca and learned that the parks were still open! Obviously we knew we needed to be smart, and realized there were not too many folks out there. We did a beautiful hike of Stonewall Peak. We did the loop which was just under 6 miles. This is motivation to continue to be responsible, but see what is available and stay active. Even just for a nice drive in the car (is that active? :-)). At the very least, please get outside and take a nice walk in your hood. Thought I would share some photos and of course a re-creation of the Oregon hike my son and I did about 10 years ago (added the original hike in case you missed last time). Thought it might give you a laugh, which is surely needed. I kind of like my 5 year old better than my teenager - just kidding D!
Love to all of you!
Derek
Stonewall peak is a gorgeous, within 60min drive hike in San Diego county. Kind of a tiny version of Yosemite’s El Capitan.
